I’ve got an interview on Monday
We met up at two, worked a bit on choreo
Scene change, costume change, beat the sunset and avoided the rain
It was a really fantastic day, honestly
My Sam Winchester dress for our Supernatural/Moulin Rouge! group
84 yards of ruffles,
The skirt was 51 individual denim pieces,
and I had a Ruby knife tucked into my stocking
Despite the amount of work, this was actually a very fun group to be a part of and I’m excited to bring it to CONjure in August
A Moulin Rouge!/Supernatural crossover at Metrocon
Otherwise entitled “This is entirely within the realm of canonic possibility”; Gabriel watched Moulin Rouge! one night and gets an idea
The ABCs of Supernatural Cosplay
So there may have been a challenge dropped to do an alphabetical list of props and characters of my Supernatural cosplay
Some of the letters had so many possibilities (Bobby, Balthazar, Bela…) and some of them will be a bit more difficult (…Zachariah??) but I’m hoping to finish this in a decent amount of time
Brick Pants Jensen
An art trade with Scout (@consulting-cannibal); brick pants for purple greyhound shirt
I just couldn’t resist taking pictures before shipping them off
I really liked Gadreel as a character— he could have easily become either Sam’s guardian and Castiel’s comrade or his own antagonist who was hell-bent on controlling the heaven that imprisoned him
Either way, I would have liked him to have had his own revenge against Metatron
If Dean got to kill Abaddon, Gadreel should have had Metatron
/end Gadreel rant
Progress and details of the First Blade
My very first woodcarving project!
You can tell it was made from some scrap wood I had in the garage
[No, I will not make you one]
I had the First Blade, and now I have the Mark of Cain to complete the set.
Welcome to the collection, Dean
9.16— Blade Runners
Really, just another excuse to show off the blade
The second part of (this) shoot
Demon eyes make faces look sexier, this is fact
Damn it, Crowley. You got him into this mess.
You will get him out
Or so help me God
I wanted to do a shoot now that I’ve finished the First Blade (and since I still have Matthew’s Sam shirt) but I didn’t expect to be cleaning the garage and rigging up a new ceiling-mount system for the camera.
But really, when has one of my shoots ever not been unnecessarily difficult?
Jim Hawkins— Treasure Planet
—I’m still not sure what that wall was supposed to be but it made a very appropriate background so I can’t complain
I’m sorry there are so many in this set, but I really wanted to make sure I got pictures of Jim before I grew my hair back out
The map went over surprisingly well! It spun around and con-goers kept trying to figure it out (unsuccessfully for the most part)
Luckily I was decently familiar with it; would’ve been pathetic if Jim couldn’t solve his own map, right?
